Take the Water Taxi to explore Fort Lauderdale from the water! Your ticket allows all-day on and off at 16 stops, and savings at restaurants and attractions at each stop. The Water Taxi is not be the fastest way to get around, but the views from the water and the friendly crew are worth the trip.

Los Olas Riverfront

Sawgrass Mills Mall
How big is this mall? It has two full sized food courtyards. Under one roof 2.4 million square feet of concentrated indoor outlet shopping. It’s the largest single story mall in the US. with 300 stores which include anchors Off 5th, JC Penny Outlet, Super Target and Last Call! Neiman Marcus. An outside promenade called Colonnade Outlets are upscale fashion stores.

Casinos
Seminole Hardrock Casino is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and has completed a $150 million expansion with a 100,000-square-foot gaming floor, the non-smoking, well-appointed Stax Poker Lounge located on the second floor, and three new restaurants in addition to the food court. There is 5,700 square feet of retail shops which are located on the first floor courtyard.

Gulfstream Park is one of the state’s approved “racinos” offering a combination of thoroughbred horse racing and casino gaming. If you’re the gambling type, or you just enjoy horse races, Gulfstream’s a great place to spend a day

Butterfly World

Swap Shop Flea Market and Outdoor Theatres
The Swap Shop is an 180,000 square foot air-conditioned shopping and entertainment complex featuring brand-name merchandise and international restaurants. At the gigantic flea market, you’ll find 2,000 vendors selling all items at bargain prices 7 days a week. They also offer amusement rides, a giant video arcade, farmers market, and one of the world’s largest drive-in movie theatres.
